The referral cookie life is 30 days. If a user purchases the product past 30 days from the first referred visit, the conversion won’t be tracked anymore.

People who click on your link have 30 days to become your lead.
If you are the first referer to the customer but they don’t finish the purchase, they are still connected to your affiliate account. Even if they come back later, after 10 days from a different source/link, you would be still the one earning the commission.
